To be eligible to win this award you must have less than 7 years experience in the water industry and work at a Water Directorate member council in the water and sewerage section.

Cobar Shire Council is currently seeking to recruit two outstanding employees: a Services Manager to manage Council’s water supplies, sewerage scheme, Cobar Swimming Pool contract, parks and gardens, and town facilities within Cobar and the villages within the Shire and a Project Manager to oversee capital projects on a three-year contract in accordance with the projects schedule.

The Water Directorate's latest publication, Guidelines for the Review of Environmental Factors (REFs), was released last week. A copy of Guidelines for the Review of Environmental Factors (REFs) has been posted to the General Manager of all member councils and an electronic copy is available to download from the members' area of the website.
