How Good Does Your Water Taste?

Following the great success enjoyed by MidCoast Water after winning the State of Origin Water Taste Test in 2013 the Water Directorate is once again encouraging all our members to send your water samples along to the upcoming WIOA Industry Operations Conference in Orange 1-3 April 2014. Please note that only LWU’s sending operators to the Conference are eligible to enter the Taste Test.

The Orica Taste Test is a fun and exciting way to raise awareness of the quality of our State’s drinking water and to recognise the efforts of local water utilities in delivering water services to regional communities. The heat's of the taste test will take place on Tuesday 1 April at 4.45 - 6pm and the winner will be announced at the Conference Dinner on Thursday 3 April. Members are reminded that nominations for the WIOA NSW Operator of the Year close on Friday 28 February 2014. The winner of this prestigious award including a trip to attend the WIOG New Zealand Conference will also be announced at the Conference Dinner on Thursday 3 April. Good luck to all our nominees.
