Water Week: do you have a project to publicise?

08 Aug 2018

“Water is key to our future prosperity and together we can achieve a water-wise world,” says the Stockholm International Water Institute, organiser of World Water Week, held in the third week in August.

In Australia, National Water Week is held in the third week of October. The 2018 dates are 21-27 October. This is a good time to focus the community on any water issues you may be having, and to involve local media if appropriate. The Australian Water Association website has lots of resources and past projects that could help you raise awareness about water issues in your local area.

World Water Week has been the annual focal point for the globe’s water issues since 1991. Experts, practitioners, decision-makers, business innovators and young professionals from some 200 organisations come to Stockholm to network, exchange ideas, foster new thinking and develop solutions to the most pressing water-related challenges of today.
