Training Workshops for Recycled Water Management Systems
04 Sep 2015
A subject that interests many Water Directorate members is recycled water management systems. Recently DPI Water developed new guidance and supporting information for LWUs that are seeking approval for new or existing recycled water schemes.
DPI Water has released Guidelines for Recycled Water Management Systems, plus a series of information sheets that promote and support the implementation of the preventive risk management approach in the Australian Guidelines for Recycled Water 2006, for the provision of safe recycled water.
In order to facilitate the approvals process and promote the safe management of recycled water schemes, DPI Water is offering one-day training workshops in 4 regional locations. The details are:
Wed 2nd September - Griffith
Wed 14th October - Queanbeyan
Wed 28th October - Ballina (to follow the AWA NSW Engineers & Operators Regional Conference)
Wed 11th November - Port Macquarie
The workshops are free to LWU and related government participants. Please register by emailing
