The WLMP was a very successful program that was jointly managed by Local Government NSW and the Water Directorate. It received $4.21 million in funding from the Federal Government through the Water for the Future initiative. The WLMP has saved over 6,000 ML of water through the implementation of water loss measures and the transfer of water loss knowledge to 75 local water utilities in regional NSW.
