LGNSW Excellence in Environment Awards Open

Held annually since 1998, the
Excellence in Environment Awards recognise NSW councils’ outstanding achievements in managing and protecting the environment.
Nominations are now open and all councils are encouraged to enter.
This year the Water Directorate is proudly sponsoring the Water Conservation award. Category award winners receive a trophy and winners in each division receive a certificate. The prize for overall winner of the Local Sustainability Award is an overseas study tour or a professional development program for staff, valued at $10,000.
