Did you know that there are many useful documents in the Members Section of this website that have been uploaded by engineers at other LWUs in the interests of sharing information?

Rather than each LWU replicating similar tasks, the idea behind this section of the website is that documents developed by one LWU can be repurposed by other LWUs and tailored to their situation.

One of the goals of the Water Directorate is that larger LWUs with more staff can share their expertise with smaller LWUs that may not have the resources to generate tenders, policies, protocols, and public information sheets in-house.

Recently for example, Brendan Guiney from MidCoast Water uploaded a Sewer Grading Table. The Lower Macquarie Water Utilities Alliance has shared its Water and Sewerage Performance Reporting Handbook for Small LWUs.
