Executive Committee Nominees Sought

The Executive Committee of the Water Directorate currently has two vacancies: one for the North Coast Region and another for the South East Region.

The Executive Committee comprises 18 elected members representing nine local government non-metropolitan regions in NSW. Representatives are nominated and elected by the General Managers of each region. Two appointed representatives from Local Government NSW are also on the Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee is a highly respected group of senior water and/or sewerage managers or technical directors from a variety of local water utilities. The Executive Committee meets 7 times per year in Sydney, including an AGM, and manages a wide range of projects and services on behalf of the Water Directorate's 97 member councils.
