Election of New Executive Committee

We are pleased to announce that our biennial election process for Executive Committee members was finalised today and that all 18 positions have been filled. First we want to thank all the nominees for participating in this important process and congratulate the successful nominees. The biennial election process ensures that all nine regions are well represented with a balance between large and small, coastal and inland councils.

After fourteen years, only three original Executive Committee members remain: Stewart McLeod, David Byrne and Doug Hill. The other elected members for the 2013-14 Committee include: Wayne Beatty, Russell Deans, Greg Finlayson, Wayne Franklin, Greg McDonald, Heinz Kausche, Eric Poga, Jeff Sharp, David Steller, David Tull, Terry Seymour, Brett Corven, Tony Holmes, Alan Fletcher and Brendan Guiney.

We would like to thank our retiring members during this last term: Mike Rayner, Simon Thorn, Carmel Krogh, Brian Carter, John Maxwell, Angus McLean and Anthony Burnham for their efforts and invaluable advise on previous committee/s.
