Dam Safety Workshop Travels North

Due to popular demand the one day Dam Safety Risk Management Workshop is going to be held on the north coast at the Ballina Council Chambers on Wednesday 14 November 2012. The Water Directorate is very happy to once again host the workshop and we thank Ballina Council for facilitating the venue.
Once again, the workshop will cover a range of important issues for dam owners including:
- An overview of legislative requirements and risk management
- Dam safety emergency management plans and training requirements
- Relevant case studies by staff from Orange City Council and Bathurst Regional Council;
- Dam safety inspection system
- Technical issues and implications
All north coast dam owners are strongly encouraged to attend and familiarise yourselves with the risk management regime introduced by the NSW Office of Water. Download the
