Call for Conference Attendance Award Nominees

The Water Directorate and AWA are proud to sponsor the 2012 Conference Attendance Award. The aim of this award is to promote water professionals with less than 7 years work experience in the NSW local government water and sewer industry.

The Water Directorate believes that by attending a national water conference the young professional is provided with the best opportunity to network and increase their awareness of the diversity of the water industry in Australia. This time the winner will attend Ozwater ’12 to be held at Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour from 8-10 May 2012.

The recipient of this award will receive one full registration to Ozwater ‘12 valued at $1600 as well as travel and accommodation expenses to the same amount. Jointly sponsored by the AWA and Water Directorate, nominations are open to all young water industry professionals working with one of our member councils. Feedback from our previous winners has been very positive with universal praise for the range of papers, the valuable networking opportunities and the great learning experiences offered by attending Ozwater. Interested water industry staff should fill in the nomination form and email/fax it back to Eloise Stanley by Friday 30 March 2012.
