Ballina Shire Council is Seeking an Operations Engineer

Ballina Shire Council is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified, experienced and motivated individuals to coordinate water and wastewater operations to achieve operational, maintenance and improvement programs for Ballina's water and wastewater assets.

The position vacant is for an Operations Engineer - Water and Wastewater and the position objectives are:

To coordinate and guide the operation of Council’s water and wastewater infrastructure including water and wastewater treatment plants, storages and reticulation systems.
To ensure Council meets its Levels of Service, regulatory and licensing requirements through providing high level technical and organisational leadership to supervisors and staff operating Council’s water and wastewater assets.
To coordinate the water and wastewater operations to identify, develop, implement and monitor maintenance and improvement programs for Council’s water and wastewater assets.
To provide a high level of customer service to Council’s internal and external clients on water and wastewater engineering related matters.
