O&M Manual for Sewage Treatment Plants - 2016
The O&M Manual for STPs was first published by the Water Directorate in 2005 when it set the benchmark as our largest publication.
The 2016 edition covers all major wastewater treatment unit processes used in NSW and information used in undertaking routine operation of STPs.
This updated version comprises 19 sections and 12 appendices. There are sections on new and emerging technologies, processes such as biological phosphorus control, dewatering equipment etc. and changes to legislation such as WHS Act 2011 and POEO regulation.
The manual is a unique document combining a template for producing an O&M Manual for your specific STP, with multi-treatment process text book information. It also includes troubleshooting advice for operators.
