This resource consists of 71 template specifications for chemicals commonly used in the treatment of water and wastewater.

The templates are 5-7 pages in length, and specify the properties, verification and delivery requirements for each chemical.

Local water utilities (LWUs) insert their own relevant information into the specification and can proceed to the market for suppliers, knowing they have covered all the key contractual requirements.

There is also a chemical impurity spreadsheet that will assist LWUs to comply with Australian Drinking Water Guidelines 2011.
